My mother makes a fantastic meat loaf. I don't even like meat loaf normally, But her's is delicious. But recently I had tried my own spin on her recipe. I used the same ingredients for the meat & seasonings , But put them into pepper slices. They formed little rings filled with meatloaf
Hey Alok, What kind of meat did you use? Traditional meatloaf meat is made of a mixture of pork and beef because the 2 meats together make for a jucier meatloaf. If you want to use only beef, I would go for a ground chuck since it's usually 85% lean and the higher fat content makes for a more tender meatloaf. It also depends what temperature your oven was set at and how long the meat was in the oven for and how much salt you put in it. Salt is known for making meat tough. Ask your mom about the time and temp she cooks hers at and adjust it for the amount of meat you have. Hope that helps! Avid Amiri
